Winter and Winterising
Winterising in late autumn will help to prolong the life of drivebelts and impellers, It also ensures that used engine oil is replaced with new oil, and that means the used and dirty oil is not pumped around your engine after being idle throughout the winter, hopefully giving a longer lasting life to your engine, and maybe saving you a great deal of expense in the longrun. Winterising early helps easier starting in the new season, putting less strain on starter motors etc, Saving you more in the long run.
Parts replacement
Maintenance is carried out to the engine manufacturers service schedule where possible and great care is taken to ensure the continued reliability of your engine, however, it has been found that the service schedule for certain items on certain engines is inadequate, and more frequent changing of some parts is essential for continued reliability, this will be discussed with you if your engine falls into this category.
